Honestly, I wanted to separate posts that would go under this personal blog of mine and posts that would go under The Urban Decadence, but TUD’s currently undergoing maintenance…didn’t want to wait until it was over and done with to write about these two songs.

First off, Lucky Lefty! Released this song on his blog two nights ago called “High Rise”.

You guys already know how I feel about him if you’ve read the interview I conducted not too long ago.

And second! DJ Bianca G from Cherry Pop (who’s like an ateh of mine) recorded herself singing (live) and released the video via Facebook… If you guys haven’t heard, she’s releasing a solo album under the name Bo Johnson (very good production & songs) which I’ve been privileged to have made it on (just a little interlude) very soon.

Cherry Pop!

It’s been way too long since my last post here–a lot of things have been going on this past week or so with double-shifts beginning from 10AM and ending around 7AM the following day…as you can tell, shit’s been a little crazy on my end. Nothing too exciting until DJ Bianca G of Cherry Pop contacted me for a quick photoshoot!

Now, I don’t know if you guys know this but, I’m an intern for Mainframe‘s upcoming label New World Color. Gonjasufi and Blu are a part of the label, and so is the dynamic female duo called Cherry Pop (that’s composed of Brooker T and DJ Bianca G). I went m.i.a on the company during my whole move to Alhambra and just recently made my way back into the NWC family. Anyway, that’s what I’ve been working on and I have to say that so far, the pictures are looking so bomb.

Oh, I just started reading a new book! It’s actually a compilation of essays by Albert Camus, a French existentialist philosopher. I’ll tell you how it is once I re-read the one I just finished–I swear, I regressed in comprehension since I took a break from school, smDh.
